Hello all,

How many of you are running MacBook Pros with Mac OS X 10.5.2 WITHOUT Leopard Graphics Update 1.0 installed? Does this function correctly?

Thanks.

I'm running 10.5.2 without the Leopard Graphics Update. In my case, my machine is one of the ones that simply doesn't work right with the LGU installed. If I have the LGU installed, my machine locks up left and right, forcing a hard shutdown by holding the Power button down.

Without the LGU, my MBP is the best machine I've ever owned. Runs flawlessly!

I`m also having the same problem When I install the Leopard Graphics Update pack my computer freeze during boot and only way to rescue it to instert Apple Leopard DVD 1 and make a new install leopard archieve & install method.

so I was bored of this crap and skip the Leopard Graphics Update :/

Fortunately, Apple is aware of the problem. Evidently, MS Excel is a pretty reliable way to trigger the issue, so MS has been working with Apple to resolve it.
