Right click menu has double items???

You need to rebuild the launchservices database.
This can also be done using the free and very useful Onyx Utility.

Hmm off hand I would check to see if I had duplicate apps in my main Applications folder and the User account applications folder.... I have no idea if this is it though.I got a picture here for you. I don't understand what happened in the last week to double all these apps on the list.
How can I remove one of each, or whatever
It's funny that those all say .app, AFAIK that doesn't show up when I right click to choose an application.
