Hey, I'm using an aluminum iMac with the 2600, which I know has hardware 264 encoding. Does hardware encoding speed up the process of translating, say, an 1:30 movie into h264? If it does, which app should I use for encoding?

Basically, which app would be fastest at encoding for me: Quicktime, Handbrake, or some other app?

Hmm... this question isn't that specific, maybe I'm in the wrong sub forum?
