Hi everyone,
I recently tethered my iphone to a couple laptops and have to say it is a LIFESAVER it is awesome! I currently have a prepaid (goPhone) plan and I'm liking the freedom of it without a contract.

But as you check each guide on how to tether the iPhone, of which HowardForums and the best, they all have the disclaimer on them that it 'Might violate ATT's TOS' and that they could charge/cancel your account.

Now, they say it might. So have people actually been suspended from service or charged more? Also, if I have a goPhone plan, how could they charge me for "tethered" data usage assuming they found out?

Maybe this could start a list of people who've been either charged, cancelled, or caught by AT&T to see if there are any...and so far, I haven't been.

Thanks!
