Guest account question?

So i want to activate the guest account, then i want to go into it and customize a few things like dock preferences and a few other system preferences etc.... will these changes stick like in a windows guest account or will it go back to default every time the guest account is used.

if so is there any way to have the guest account retain settings? or should i just create a second user account and call it guest or something?

There is no the guest account in MacOS X. You can however, create any number of managed accounts with as few or as many privileges as you want. Just go though the options in your Accounts preferences pane. It is all straight foward.
