Lately, my MBP has been running at a solid 80 degrees Celcius when all I have been doing is browsing with Safari. I think that's probably a problem. Is there a problem, and how can I fix it?

thats a bit hot, My MBP runs at 45 - 55 when just web browsing, get it checked at the apple store.

You have to find out whats running on the back ground? do you have istat? whats your processor running at?

sometimes safari gets messed up and uses full cpu usage, so like csmitte said, get istat, figure out what is using all of the CPU usage, if it is safari CMD+Q and get out of it, if that dosent work, reset safari by clicking safari in the menu, then reset safari, that should fix it
