Up until a few days ago, I have been having static problems with connecting my Bluetooth headsets to my iPhone. Not just the Apple iPhone Bluetooth, but also my Jawbone. Both myself and the receiving party on the call would hear the static when voices are spoken. I was reading and searching all blogs and forums regarding this problem for a few weeks, because obviously, static is something you would rather not hear in a phone call. I read the Apple support site where it states that Bluetooth connectivity may not perform well with surrounding wireless activities. So I went outside in the open parking lot where I knew for sure there would be no wireless activity, and still, STATIC! After numerous readings and fidgeting with the iPhone, I finally tried turning off the wireless connectivity feature on the iPhone. I was on a call at the time when I turned it off, with static plugging away, and immediately after I switched the wireless feature off, that static disappeared! Apparently, the iPhone cannot be in the mode of searching for wireless networks while using Bluetooth, unless you don't mind the background static. Hopefully Apple or another company will come up with a solution to make Bluetooth and wireless run on not-so-similar frequencies. If anyone has any more input or feedback, much appreciated. Thanks, Derek
