I just got this email from apple and noticed on the notepad it appears as though there have been pages ripped off. I wonder if this is a graphical enhancement, not much different but a nice touch.

Mine look like that too. However, I don't really use it enough to know if it is a recent enhancement or if its been like that for awhile now.
 
Well maybe it's just a higher resolution graphic but on mine the edges don't appear as jagged and rough.
 
I think that tear may be slightly more "rough" than the current 1.1.4 tear. Or simply a mock up for presentation purposes...

thats about as far as my attention span reached on this subject
