Hi-

I need some help, here's my situation: I've got a powermac tower with 2 internal HD bays, both occupied. The first HD is partitioned into 2, the system/boot partition and a file storage partition. The second HD is just storage.

The second HD is running out of space, so I got a new HD with more capacity, and I need to clone my second HD to this new HD. The problem is I'd need to remove the HD with my system/boot partition to do the clone. So i need to create a bootable DVD that will allow me to access the finder, and use Super Duper to clone my second HD to this new HD.

How would i do that?

Thanks!

Just install your new hard drive while removing your boot hard drive. Then boot up from your OS Installation Disc and open up disk utility from there.

After you open up Disk utility just select ANY volume on the left panel and hit the restore tab then drag the new second storage drive from the left panel into the "Source" Field and then the new drive into the destination field and press restore.
