hello everyone,

i have downloaded an image, it came with 3 files. (.ccd, .img, .sub)

Now what steps do i need to take to burn this onto a cd or dvd to make the disc.

Sam

You can probably find the creating application here. The .ccd file is a CloneCD control file. The .img is obviously the disk image file of the cloned optical disk. The .sub is a CloneCD subchannel data file.

How about if I just want to play it? I have a movie with .img and .ccd files as well as subtitles (in .sub format); VLC plays the movie but without sound and without subtitles.

Seeing as how the files are intended to be used to duplicate CDs, I would suggest that you use them to duplicate CDs.

Can you burn it with DiskUtility. It'll burn iso and other image formats...

DU says it doesn't recognize the format. I dl'ed and tried out "Burn" (you have to change the suffix to .bin); it seems like it would work but I don't have any CDs on me! (only DVDs)
