I have a copy of Unrar , but I am still unable to open some shareware programs that I have downloaded . Is there any other program I could use . Thanks

Do you mean UnRarX, by any chance? I used to use that program for RAR archives, but have since switched to The Unarchiver. Works brilliantly, and it can even open Stuffit archives (but not Stuffit X).

Yeah I stand corrected , I meant UnRar X . Well try unarchiver

If UnRarX cannot open it, I doubt Unarchiver can. While I use Unarchiver for most tasks, it cannot open many password-protected or damaged files, whereas UnRarX can.
