Can't insert DVD

Hello,

I inserted a DVD disc and it did it usual sound and then ejected it and now I can't insert the DVD into the drive. I can insert it about 2-3 cm and then there's something stopping the drive mechanically.

Will I need to replace the drive or has anyone heard of this issue before and found some other solution than replacing the drive?
 
If it happens with all other DVDs then there could be something wrong your drive. You might want to have that checked by some folks from Apple.
 
It's with all discs I've tried with. I can't even insert a DVD, there's something blocking the actual slot 2-3cm into the drive.

Oh well another turn to a Apple Service Provider, no Apple Stores here in my country :mad:
