so in my right-click contextual menu there's a few actions like "CleanApp" and "Zap!" left over from applications i've since uninstalled in the Automator menu.

how can i remove this items from these menus?

try searching for "Zap!.workflow" and "CleanApp.workflow" with "Filename" selected in Finder's search and then trashing them from there.

are you using Leopard? if so youll have to add a "System files - include" parameter to Finder's search.

It means;
Command F, to get a search window up.
Click the + button at the right hand side.
The additional left hand drop down box that appears may well have Kind written in it, click it and change that to other..... A drop down window will appear. Scroll through it until you find System Files.
Check the check box and click OK.
Now try your search again.
