Mail Preview in iMail

I'm a total Mac newbie (i love it so far) so sorry if this is a really easy question, but i've been trying to figure it out for an hour and I just can't. When For the past few weeks when I opened up iMail I had a preview of all my e-mails but today i must have accidentally hit some key sequence because now the message preview is gone and I would like to get it back. Any help? Thanks so much!

In front of my MacBook Pro

There's a little bar at the bottom of Mail's window, drag it up to reveal the preview. See photo if you don't know what it looks like.

Yea, I had this problem too, fairly recently(not really the "pro" user of Mail....fairly new to it)
