S-video and MBP (penryn) - Mac often gets frozen

hi,
I have a problem when connecting s-video (via dvi to s-video converter, TV powered on before connecting) to my mbp; it happens that (after few times the internal screen blinks) mac gets frozen and the only solution is to reboot.

Has anybody noticed similar behavior? any solution? thx:)
 
Are you using a SR MBP and the 10.5.2 update in combination with the Leopard Graphics Update. If so, this a problem happening to everyone with these qualifications.

No, Im using latest Penryn MBP (2.4) with 10.5.2 update. I havent installed Leopard Graphics Update, I guess it was already built-in in my configuration.
