backing up iTunes

I found a folder "iTunes" in my Music Folder. Seems to have everything on iTunes. Can I assume that if I drag that to my 500 gig ext HD that, that will create a backup of my iTunes material?

Provided you have iTunes set to keep your music organised (which is the default) yep =]
