So i returned home from work to notice PF on my stove's clock. Power Failure. Just great, my mac Pro has a battery backup, and i left it on that morning.

So i go to check and see how long the outage lasted, obviously not long enough to drain my battery. So there was an error message on the screen, Time Machine failed to mount, something along those lines. So i tried to run the backup, no luck. Time Capsule was working, i could see the files, even see the sparse image. But no luck.

So i restarted, which took much longer than normal. I tried the backup process, no error message this time, although the finder appeared to look at every file on my 3 partitions. Then about 2 hours later, I noticed when the backup finally started, there was only 60mb of new data to save. I assume after a restart it starts the process over and checks to see what has changed since the last archive.

Just wanted to share, just in case any of you have this problem some day.
