Networked hard drive disappears from "Devices" after restart

I have a networked hard drive mount every time I start my computer. I like for it to be displayed in the "Devices" section of the Finder so I can see the drive show up in all menus, etc. I drag it in there upon every startup and it ALWAYS disappears once the computer is restarted. Any idea how to keep this from happening?
