The title is 1% misleading, since the device I'm talking about is the Time Capsule. But since the wireless part is the same, this applies to AEBS as well.
As you probably guessed, I bought Time Capsule. The n-specced WiFi works just fine with my MacBook Pro, but I'm having serious problem getting it to work on my sister in-laws Windows XP-laptop. The laptop does not have 802.11n, so I tried buying a suitable PC-Card for the computer. It was D-link, but the precise model-number escapes me at the moment. Windows's built-in WiFi-tool didn't find the Time Capsule at all, while the D-link provided tool did find it, but refused to connect.
I then returned the device and got a Buffalo WLI-UC-G300n, an USB-based device. it too refuses to talk with the AEBS.
With the D-link, I tried to make the Time Capsule 100% open, but even then they two devices would not connect. I haven't tried that yet with the Buffalo.
But the question is: what third-party WiFi-cards DO work with the Time Capsule/AEBS? I don't like the idea of trying several different devices, just to find the one that does work...
