Hello!
Anyone else noticing this? Since the Jan update I have been syncing my iPT using iTunes to Outlook 2003. In my Contacts I have about 200 persons of which 6 are colleges and are thus in the normal Exchange Address List. Starting with the last iTunes update these 6 users get wrong e-mail address - for example "joe.doe@organization.org" turns into "Joe Doe" and this makes sending an email using iPT mail hard. (The reason I saw this was that the iPT hangs while sending an email as the mail address is bad).
My conspiracy theory is that this is something done for the Beta programme of the 2.0. This is the normal way Office handles persons (for example typing Joe Doe in Word 2003 and above would generate a list of options based on Exchange information). The problem is that it plain stupid to do this when syncing unless you have full-blown Exchange support where magic kicks in to get a proper email address. Either this or an Office 2003 update...
(I noticed this as one of the users is misspelled in the Active Directory last name field and this was transferred to the iPT, the original email address was correct)
Anyone?
