Looking for suggestions where I can buy the full CS3 Design Standard application in the US. Amazon seems to be the cheapest so far.

Also how many discs does it come with 1 DVD or more?

Thanks

Looks like Amazon is $50 cheaper than Adobe or CDW for regular pricing.

CS3 Design Premium is three discs (one for applications, one for content, one for video tutorials). I assume the Standard kit is the same or similar.

CS3 Design Standard is $150 at my school bookstore (academic version obviously). I got the Premium for $300. You might want to check local universities for their prices.

Yeah but you have to be a student (and prove it) to get those prices. The way the OP phrased his question sounds like he is looking for a regular version.

Depends on the school. My roommate just bought Office '08 for his new Mac up there on campus, and he didn't have to show ID or anything, and he is not a student.

Cs3

I have been looking to upgrade (non academic prices) from 2 to 3.
When I bought CS2 I used a company that buys in bulk (or thats what they said) to get the prices down a bit. It was viosoftware or something like that out of Colorado. They were legit and had a decent price.
I'd be careful about "too good to be true" deals.

Its looks like $899.99 to $1,200.00 (US) for CS3 Standard Mac is average.

Wow, its seems as thought the windoze version consistently sells for less?????!

hmmmmm, why?

Upgrade is considerably less; more like $599 for Design Premium.

Yes I'm looking for a full retail, non-academic version. Looks like Amazon will be the place to go.

I'll be buying during a visit to the US. If I buy from the local Apple store would the price be MRRP + tax ( $1199.95 + tax ) where as Amazon is $1164.99 delivered.

Thanks
