question on selling Mac - reinstalling OS

I'm selling a Mac locally, so the buyer will be able to try it out. When I reinstall the OS, what would you do about the registration information that is required? Can it be easily changed? Obviously someone could always reinstall again if necessary, I'm just wondering.
 
reinstall using the restore DVDs and zero out the drive if you wish. then as the intro plays appears shut it down. when you start it up again it should play the movie and then Setup Assistant will appear for the buyer to create his/her account.
