I have been unable to access CNN.COM from here in Japan since early this morning and I just saw this on CNET Asia:

Denial of Service attack on CNN by Chinese hackers

I'm getting the exact same PING results as the author in China and I see one reply to that post from someone else in Japan with no access as well. I do seem to be able to intermittently access with Firefox but it is very hit or miss and one page at a time.

Friends back in the states and in Europe seem to have no problems accessing. Is this a Chinese DDOS? Are any of you also unable to access?

It's starting to tick me off whatever it is.

I was unable to access CNN all day yesterday, but I just checked and it opened right up. That really sucks if China was blocking it.

Someone needs to wake up to Communist China. We seem eager to forget that one lil key word in front of China. These people arent Free and are ruled by a small elite. Guess thats better then having a king but not by much.

And we aren't (Free and ruled by a small elite, that is)?

Oops... off this goes to the political forum!
