Ya I was looking at a MBP but everyone on here convinced me that the Macbook was what I needed bc I normally only listen to music and web-browsing, and so I am gonna PROB pick up this Macbook tonight. I am only 13 almost 14 and my parents are only allowing me to spend $1000 because my birthday is 3 months away

Well unfortuanly (sp) the guy sold the Macbook before I got my hands on so I am back in the market for a Macbook

But the thing is I am trying to trade my current laptop and a little cash for a Macbook heres the specs how much cash should I add to the deal if I do find someone willing to trade

3 month old HP laptop- with AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.8GHZ Dual core, 1 GB ram, 256MB GDDR3 nVIDIA Graphics card, 160Gb HDD, Built-in WiFi with all boxes and reciept-the only bad thing is, it is missin comma key cap

Probably expect to add $500-$600 to your laptop for a basic Macbook.

ya NO I think that is a little high I mean this exact laptop has sold on craigslist for $700 and I just want a Black 2.0 GHz C2D and 2 GB Ram and 80GB HDD

How much did you buy that one for? the one that sold for $700 might have been brand new and just because one laptop sells for a certain ammount doesnt mean youll get that much on yours.

I think my parents paid $949.99 and I got it in Jan Because I was at my dads for chrstmas

I think you need to call hp and get a comma key so you can ask a decent price.

cheers

I wont like have to send my laptop in and everything for one will I
