I have a 15" MBP with 94 cycles and 88% battery health. From what I'm told this is lower than it should be...should i contact apple and try to get a replacement battery?

80% and 300 cycles is the cutoff so no, not until it gets below 80%.

Thanks! I was wondering about this, and this is a good guideline.

Just curious, when does the meter for a battery "cycle" start? What I mean is, how low does it go before it is considered a "cycle"? If I go to 35-40% and plug in, is that considered a cycle?

Just wondering.

Thanks!
W

Apple says that "Using and recharging 100% of battery capacity equals one full charge cycle."
