I find myself missing a very specific feature I use a LOT on Windows. I use WinRAR for my archiving tasks.. and when I right-click any archive, I very often use the following context menu command (that WinRAR added on setup): "Extract to a folder of the same name as the archive". This isn't verbatim but you get the point. It would create a new folder inside the current folder with the same name as the archive, and put the contents of the archive in that newly created folder. It's extremely handy.. and The Unarchiver, which is what I use now on OSX, can't exactly do that AFAIK.

What tool can? Thanks!

take a look at macpar deluxe. It will auto unrar into the current directory, but you can get it to allow you to choose.

I know what you mean about winRAR, I use both, as I have both a Mac and a PC, though the PC stays in the garage. ;) (long story)

Regardless, I personally like macpar deluxe better than WinRAR.
