Epson RX595 and Jabra a320s Bluetooth adapter...

Don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I couldn't figure out where to post this...

I have an Epson RX595 and a Jabra a320s Bluetooth adapter. Does anybody know if I can use the a320s to enable Bluetooth printing on the RX595? It recognizes it as a BT adapter, and I can see it as a BT printer in my print prefs, but it times out after it asks for pairing code (yes I'm putting in the right code). I'd rather not have to purchase Epson's BT print adapter if I can get this one to work. Thx in advance...
 
I don't have a Bluetooth printer, so my knowledge is limited to basic understanding of the CUPS printing system...
Are you using a Gutenprint (Gimp-Print) driver when you add the printer? The Bluetooth printer recognizer/comm protocol included in OS X is part of CUPS, and only CUPS drivers are supported with it. In other words, the Epson driver doesn't work with the included Bluetooth driver.

Although no one I know has gotten Bluetooth printing to work, I believe it is possible with the right driver/hardware combination. Maybe you DO need to get the Epson Bluetooth adapter -- then their driver will work.
 
Thanks gsahli, I'll try it again with the Gutenprint driver and see if it works, although I'm highly doubting it. Try as I might, I just can't justify spending $100+ on something that I frankly think should have come with the printer. Kinda makes me wish I'd done a little more research and picked up an ethernet printer in the first place.
