I just got my first Mac (a Macbook) last night and I am on cloud 9... The Mac partition is working wonderfully but I am having a lot of problems installing Windows via Bootcamp... I would try to avoid Windows but I need it for my biz apps. I plan to use the Bootcamp partition with both Bootcamp and VM Ware fusion (which I have already bought and installed).

This is what I do:
1) I open up Bootcamp assitant and partition a 30 GB drive.
2) I start the installer (and if I am lucky I get to step 3).
3) I get the installer to go and leave the filesystem of FAT(32?) in tact.
4) Windows copies the files needed for installation and then reboots.
5) I get a quick notice to hit a key to boot from CD which I didn't and it says hit any key to reboot. The Keyboard is non-responsive.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong and what I should do. If someone could write me step by step instructions I would truly appreciate that.

PLEASE HELP... I WANT TO GET THE MOST OUT OF MY FIRST MAC!

Thank You,
