Hey all, just wondering if anyone has been having issues with speed with their SR MBP. Its recently that I've started experiencing intermediate hanging (beach balling) whilst doing the simplest of things (like opening an extra TAB in firefox). Im not sure what I should do to speed it up. Also, my front row keeps hanging the computer after I leave it playing for a while.

Any Ideas? Please help :(

If your just using a web browser there should be no reason to beachball, you need to find out whats running in the back ground. something is putting a damper on your machine, check your ram, processor. Do you run Onyx? its good for repairing permissions. give it a shot.

I've noticed that too recently my computer slows down randomly then goes back to normal.
Seemed to happen after the 3.1.1 Safari update and some programs just unexpectedly quit more frequently

So I've tried onyx for a lil while now... doesnt seem to really help. =S I'm starting to worry a bit.
