yep, I bought that ram about a month ago. Its great no problems what so ever

Deal looks good to me too. I bought the AData 4GB set about a couple of weeks ago for 55. Works perfectly in my MBP and I even managed to sell my old 2GB for 40.

Back when I used to build my high-end PC gaming rigs, I used G-Skill many times; it was awesome ram, very over-clockable and nice bang for the buck over other pricy brands like Corsair. I'd highly recommend it to anyone... :)

But I wonder why G skill lists this only as PC memory and not Mac memory. They only list their CL5 module as Mac memory.

Anyone understand why this is?

"Mac memory" is probably tested, or just a marketing scheme.

I have the G.Skill CL4 in my SR macbook pro. Works fine and according to geekbench i have consistently higher scores in memory compared to other 4gb Macbook pros. (I even beat those whose overall score is better than mine...)

15 dollars is not much.
