Why is Airport looking for PPPoE even though I don't need it?

Hello,

so I have my DSL modem, that connects through PPPoE by itself, then I have Time Capsule connected to it, internet works fine, but I get this message that scrolls at the AirPort status icon saying "Looking for PPPoE" I Do not want Time Capsule or my Mac to look for PPPoE, the DSL modem already does that job. I made sure the airport utility didn't have PPPoE setup, as well as on my mac.

how do I stop the looking for PPPoE
