voicemail button doesn't work

As in, when looking at "favorites" and tapping the VM button, the tape icon turns blue, but the screen still displays "favorites" etc. Is VM something that needs to get setup before jb'ing or something? Thanks.
 
OK...you can stop looking now, I found it...

Called Apple, they transfered me to Att, who had to set up VM a few times on their end before it started working.
