I've been thinking of getting an external display for a long time now (This 13.3 in. doesn't cut it after awhile). Looking on New Egg, I see that there are some pretty inexpensive 19" wide-screens in the $150-$200 range.

Now, if I were to buy one, making sure it was DVI, and I had a mini-DVI to DVI connector for my MacBook, would pretty much any of them work? I started reading about some different variations of the DVI and was getting a bit confused. Also, does the screen size make a difference? Say, if I found a 22" that I like better, would my computer still drive it decently?

Thanks.:apple:

The MacBook can drive any monitor with resolutions up to 1920*1200 pixels. ANd you do not have to make sure that it has DVI In since the MiniDVI port can also utilize a MiniDVI-VGA adapter.
