My MBP screen has some small problems. To simplify this process, I've made a simulation in GIMP. MBP is the revision before the current revision, bought it new in November.

Well, I've realized how irritatingly picky I am while making that image. The defects are pretty much impossible to see. There are four in the image above. Each is a remarkably accurate replica of the original defect (probably only when viewed on a MBP or at least a LCD display) the two in the black seem to be stuck pixels, but I'm not sure dark blue-green is normal. In the white is a more obvious "splotch", and in the light grey is a less obvious, but larger bright splotch.

I have two questions. First, will Apple replace this display under warranty? Second, am I ever going to get a display better than this?

A side note: I can't believe the crap I've put in my photobucket account. I just cleared 90% of it out. It's a wonder I even have a photobucket account, with two domains of my own and access to a high school's server. Among the best junk, a horrible looking nintendo train, and a breakfast I was proud of that I made out of pretty much nothing in the kitchen while I was home alone a couple years ago. Not sure what it is now, but that looks like a mean omelette for someone with as much cooking experience as me.
