I am running 10.5.2 on a 24" iMac Al. iChat 4.0.2 from Leopard.
I have .Mac.
What I wanted to know is if I can use a one-way video chat with someone running AIM (5.9 I think) on Windows XP. They don't have a webcam but so I wanted to do a one-way video chat with them. I didn't know if this would work because:
a.) iChat to AIM (I know they integrate but I don't know how far).
b.) .Mac account to AIM screen name.
c.) I know this feature was available in Tiger (iChat AV) but didn't know if it was still here in Leopard and if it worked to Windows and AIM.
or will it work only if they have a webcam (but still on Windows and AIM).
I'm hoping they don't have to have iChat, an iSight on a Mac, etc.
It's just so that my Mom can see her grandson.
Thanks.
