I use Safari now, but I want to use the simplest browser available for a certain task. Not Firefox. I was thinking Camino, but is there any simpler?

On webkit side, safari is probably simply enough, omniweb and shiira both probably has more stuff.

On gecko side, camino is, IMHO, simplest, flock, firefox both have more stuff

On presto side, Opera is the only one, and has more functions. but is much smaller in size.

iCab, im not sure if you would like it, quite slow.

so, its safari-camino-opera.

Camino is ~75% in size compare to safari. and opera is much smaller than both of them.

PS. Im not sure if size and functionality are necessarily best criteria tho.

If you want a dedicated browser window for a specific function, then Fluid is a very nice app. It's quite customizable, you can download links, and save pages, that kind of stuff - but it's *very* simple.

That's not the case anymore. Starting with 4.0 iCab is based on Webkit. Many people, myself included, find it faster than Safari.

nice to know, thanks for the info, I didn't know they release 4.0 just 1 month after 3.x lol, quite nice, indeed.

Sunrise is probably the simplest browser i have ever used. It is based on webkit, just like Safari.
