Hi all

When I received my new MacBook Pro, I followed some of the advice on here and did a clean install of Leopard, not installing the printer drivers, with the idea of installing them later if I need them.

Now I have been having difficulties finding my install disk and can't seem to download the drivers from anywhere... Can anyone offer a possible solution or point me in the right direction?

Thanks very much for any help!

Epson c42 at the moment.

Possibly HP Color LaserJet 4700 and HP DeskJet 1220c & 1100c in the future.

Thanks for quick reply :)

If it were that simple I wouldn't of posted.

can't seem to download the drivers from anywhere

...They don't have them for OSX 10.5 because they assume they are pre-loaded I'm guessing.

Epson & similar with HP.

Anyone able to help in any way?

Thanks for this, I had only looked on the European site. I'll give these a try and post back if they don't work. Otherwise, thanks very much :)

I'm trying to use my HP DeskJet 930c with my Leopard MBP.

It's a Network Printerserver the Printer is connected to and I'm using the Gutenprint Driver shipping with Leopard.
The good news:
It's working

The bad news:

1. When printing under XP the Printer is automatically switched on when a Print order arrives, this doesn't work under Leopard

2. The quality is really bad. It only print a handfull of pixels and the prints look like newspaper quality. I tried different settings but the quality always remains so bad.
What can I do?
