screensaverengine crash?

Hi, after i activate my screen saver the process screensaverengine crashes. Unless I manually shut it down via activity monitor my screen saver fails to activate again. Any way to fix this? Anyone else have this problem?
 
I am all of sudden having the exact same problem with my MacBook air... Screensaver crashes whenever it activates normally and when it tried to load the preview in the system preferences...

It creates files like 'ScreenSaverEngine_2008-12-16-164948_myname"

Can't find any preferences files for the screensaver to trash...

Anyone know how I can fix this?
 
I started a thread about this same problem last week. It may be located here.

For whatever reason, running the combo update to 10.5.6 fixed the problem on my wife's profile. My profile never had the problem.

Do you have latest Safari 4 dev build installed?
