Hi guys, i'm looking for an easy to use, free web designing app that i can just host with my own domain name and server.

something similar to www.Homestead.com , except i don't want a monthly charge if you know what i mean.

I have dreamweaver at the moment but i can't get my head around all the code, i would much prefer a drag and drop system...

In general if it's good it's worth paying for. Check out Rapid Weaver which is well respected and pretty darned well cheap.

bump... would eventually pay for one but at the moment i literally have NO budget.

This is the one I recommend. It's also very easy to use.

Edit: Didn't see the bit about wanting a free app. Don't know of any offhand.

iWeb is good if you have no experience and want something to look good with no effort!
eventually though, if you do much
you'll want something better
i love expression web for a wysiwyg editor
but i'm into the code now so i don't use it much anymore!
but, yeah, iWeb makes cool pages

KompoZer is the best free one imo, but it runs appallingly under OSX... better than nothing, though.
