Hello everybody

For a presentation on usability testing I'm doing a short 2 min movie of my usability lab. i'm absolutely new to iMovie and I'm looking for a possibility to jump (or select) to specific time on my input video. My problem is, that my input video (which is around 65 min.) does not have a lot of change in the picture (only in speech and very small things on the screen in the video). I have a indicident report which i.e. says that at 26 min 12 sec there is an interesting error. (uh I hope you understand what i mean). So without seen the "playtime" of the selected piece of my input video it is very hard to find the right 10 seconds i'm looking for.

is there a possibility to have a playtime indicator ore to jump to a specific time? If not, is there a workaround? or would you recommend me another editing software instead of iMovie? As I said, I'm new to video editing.

Thanks for your help!
