Now that it seems almost inevitable that a 3g iphone will be released does this mean that if I get an unlocked 3g model that I could use it with my 3 sim card or are they different in anyway.

I realise that this is nothing more than speculation really but it will give me something to get excited about since I've got a year left on a 3 contract with a pretty rubbish phone.

There is no reason why it wouldnt.

Think about it - a 3 SIM is just like any other SIM, and any other SIM will work fine with a unlocked iPhone. The only difference is that the 3 SIM is 3G only, and as there is a 3G iphone coming soon, its almost certainly gonna work in that.

yep i know since it works on all 3g phones at the moment too :-D their tariffs are the best ever interms of value for money
