Hi,
I've just bought my itouch 16 gig.
I want to move some icons and the bloke in the shop did something to make them all wiggle then he dragged them onto another page hence the first page was custommised. I can't remember what he did though. I have ver 1.1.1 and will shortly be upgrading to 1.1.4.
Thanks in advance,

John

Push your finger down on any icon and hold it there for a few seconds.

They will start to wiggle.

Then you can move them. Once finished, press the home button.

Firstly, do you have the jan. software update? if not, you will need it. then you only have to hold down on the icon for 3 seconds, and you can now wiggle.

What's an iTouch?

I believe that the poster is referring to the Apple iPod touch. From Wikipedia:

The iPod touch is a portable media player and Wi-Fi mobile platform designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The product was launched on September 5, 2007 through an event called The Beat Goes On.[1] The iPod touch adds the graphical user interfaces Cover Flow and Multi-Touch to the iPod line and is available with 8, 16 or 32 GB of flash memory. It includes Apple's Safari web browser and is the first iPod enabling wireless access to the iTunes Store.[2] Beginning in June, the iPod touch will also have access to the App Store.[3]

There are some people that call it an 'iTouch'. However, there are others that deem it to be an unacceptable name. There is a thread in this forum that discusses whether or not 'iTouch' is acceptable when referring to the iPod touch:
