Hi,

I have some shareware programs that i use frequently
most of them gives a 30 day trial
if i want to use it after the time period, what do i have to do without buying the software?

in windows, i usually do this by completly unistalling the application and removing the appropriate entries from 'regedit'
does mac OS have anything similar to this?

Drag it to the trash. :)

my doubt is when i reinstall the software, won't it tell that i have already installed it once and if i want to use it again, i need to buy it

in cases like this, if we remove all entries from the system, it should work
i believe in mac, also every program will register the software internally before running. so, if i move it to trash, will these entries also be automatically removed?

By doing this you're essentially pirating the application by means of permanently extending the trial period the vendor has been good enough to give you, and Macrumors doesn't support this or the discussion of it.

/thread.
