The polls are fun. I like coming to the site and seeing a new poll. That April fool's poll has been up for like 3 weeks. Can we get a new poll? I think there should be at least a new poll every Monday.

What do you guys think? Can we see more polls?

One thing that always piques my curiosity is who writes the polls?

Is it always you, Arn, or do you enlist other gods too?

Not sure who is involved in the selection (I can tell you that I'm not :D), but anyone is welcome to submit ideas...see the MacPolls page for more info.
 
I've submitted a few poll ideas...none of them made it to an actual poll, however. The last one was about the Psystar situation. I thought that would've been a good topic for a poll, since it seemed as if our forum members were torn between the issues. Now that I think back to my actual suggestion, it probably could've been better, but the topic itself seems to have been a perfect opportunity for a poll.

I'm not upset that my particular suggestion wasn't used, but it is a bit discouraging to see so many missed polling opportunities. I'm sure other members have had similar feelings.

In response to the original idea of a weekly post, I think that's a great idea. A new poll everyday would be alright, but it's almost too small a window of time to get a full consensus.

Agreed. The Psystar situation would've made a good poll.

I'm a fan of the polling. With the Pystar / 3G iPhone there are many polling ops.

I want to know of the current iPhone owners who plans to upgrade.

I wish we had a poll asking everybody if or when did they buy applecare for their macs. Im currently debating and would love to know what other mac people have done...

A poll about a poll? I'm not sure if that's such a good idea. We need to take a poll, to determine if a poll about a poll should be done. Etc etc etc....

(Kind of like when Mitch Hedberg said "I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it." Paraprosdokian humor, gotta love it!)

Actually, I think we should have a poll in the community section to decide what question will be in the next poll. In fact, Ill make a poll about who thinks this is a good idea! Better yet, lets make a poll to see if I should even post my question! :D
