I keep trying to convert some files - and its telling me that the file cannot be played on my ipod touch despite being the correct file format. I have convereted dozens of movies and all of a sudden my ipod touch is rejecting them. However, I did try to open them in quicktime - and it says something about a bad atom in the file. I am using Red Kawa ipod video convertor. Any advice?

Have you tried this program:

ffmpegX

I am not sure if it is great, because I only used it once for a small program. Although I think something with a nice GUI would be better, but that is just me.
