Ok, I have 3 Airport Extreme basestations. 2 are the UFO 'G's and 1 is the Flat 'N'.

I want to have an 'N' network and a 'G' network but I want the G computers to be able to print to the N printer.

Do I setup "Extend Wireless Network" or "WDS"? Currently I have a G using WDS to the N airport with the printer on the N.

Included are 2 flowcharts of the current network and the setup I want.

Any help is appreciated and I'm sorry if it's unclear!

Also, in the flowcharts only the MBP in the 2nd pic matters. The lines in the other pics are random...the other computers just need to connect to 'G' routers.

How big is the area you are covering? Is there a problem with just running the N router in N+G mode which I believe is the default?

It's a sprawling house and I also want the N speed for the MBP. If I have G computers they will drag down the network to G speeds only.

Update: got it working perfectly with the N airport wired to the remote G and set to N only mode.

One more question: how do I setup and then access the printer and airdisk over the internet using bonjour global advertising?
