Hi,

I have wireless access for my brother's house which I connect to via a password.

My brother is on holiday and I cant remember what the password is. Is there anyway I can use my keychain access on my mac to see what the password is?

I know that I can do this for any other apps and the password must be stored somewhere as I dont have to re-enter it each time.

I would be massively grateful ( and impressed:D) if anyone can find out how to do this. On the face of it, it seems like something we should have access to .

Thanks in advance to the people who take their time to help with this

Finder: Go -> Utilities and launch Keychain access.

On the left, there should be a side pane, with the ability to expand passwords.
Expand it, and click on Applications. It will then list all network passwords on the main window.
Double click on the network that you need the password for.
On the bootom left of the window that pops up it will say
"Show Password"
Check this box and you will be requested to enter your administrator password. Enter it, Allow, and your password will be in the clear for the network key.

unfortunately the password wasnt there - I have only ever accessed this through my phone and never on my mbp - therefore does anyone have ay experience of this please?

thanks
