My iMac Crashes Repeatedly - See Report

I don't know why, but 3 times now, my screen went dark and I got the message to restart the computer -It Crashed

When I logged back in, I copied the information which the computer wanted to send to Apple.

Can you decipher from this what the problem is and how I can stop it?

Looks like a problem with wireless.

Does it happen if you're using a wired connection only and turn off your AirPort connection?
 
Gonna take a wild stab and say something wrong with your networking.

IO80211 and IONetworkFamily stand out.

Unsure why it's causing a major crash like that. Since we have to decipher what machine you have I'm guessing iMac 2.8ghz 24" Alum?

And if so, that sounds pretty new. Try re-installing. During the install process though, look in the upper right hand corner for the airport icon. See if you can connect to your network. If so continue on, if not still continue.

Then update and see if the problem is corrected. Might be a kext issue but that's beyond my ability.

I have an iMac 2.8 (2007 model) and haven't come across this. Maybe the network card got fried?
 
This is a Top of the range iMac and I did upgrade to 4 Ghz myself.

It is a network or wireless related problem as thats the problem I am facing now.

I also have a Time Capsule in the network.

So, my iMac connects to the Time Capsule Wirelessly which is connected to my Router through an Ethernet Cable (for Internet access).

If I connect directly to the Wireless Router from the Airport icon, it works fine but when I try going through the Time Capsule network, it doesn't want to know.

I keep getting connection timeouts and invalid password messages even though its correct.

Any suggestions?

I agree. I've often said the same thing to others but when seeing the black screen and not knowing how soon after he boots up that he gets this error it would be probably the easiest. Since he doesn't have to do a complete re-install just an archive install so everything remains just the OS gets refreshed.

Personally if it was new enough, I'd call applecare or take it in. I hate those screens and fortunately I haven't had a lot of them.

Normally I wouldn't say re-install but I only gave that reason from my above mentioned reasons.
