I recently installed Leopard and performed all the updates. After, I installed a bunch of third party apps and decided it might be a good idea to repair my disks permissions. So I open up Disk Utility, click the drive, and then choose "Repair Disk Permissions." Now, it doesn't seem to do anything. It says "Repairing Permissions. Estimated time less than 1 minute" and the progress bar doesn't go anywhere. I wait and wait and nothing happens, so I cancel it and it says "Stopped by user" "Permissions repair complete". Any ideas here?

Dumb thing always says 1 minute,
you just have to wait, sometimes up to 15 mins has been my experience

Well would you look at that... hes absolutely right! Thanks OzExige!! Kind of lame it does that...

I get the same thing here. I think it's been a bug since Leopard was released. It will probably be addressed in the next major update, seeing how they keep talking about the significant amount of fixes. Can't wait to see that list.
