I've been using Speed Download, and while I like the way it downloads and (theoretically) sorts the files, I'd like to tweak that a bit. I've it set to DL all files to the "Rec'd Files" folder, but I'd like to set up smart folders to sort out all of the downloaded files that appear in the "rec'd Files" folder.

I've never used Smart Folders, but I use Smart Mailboxes and Smart Playlists frequently. Smart Folders, though, don't seem to be as intuitive (at least to me). I'm having a really difficult time figuring out how to set it up to only look in the "rec'd files" folder.

Can anyone offer any info on that, please?

On a somewhat Smart Folders related note, I've got a SF for "Applications" in my Home Folder has a number of apps in it, but the regular folder for "Applications" in my Home Folder is empty. The Applications folder under my "Macintosh HD" has the same number of apps as the Application SF. Is that normal behavior?

Thanks for any info y'all can share!
